Scrambled Eggs with Hot Sauce

Almost five years after publishing “Lisa Food” - the cookbook best described as a gluten-free culinary love letter - the question BFF collaborators Lisa Predko and Andrea Donadio have been most often asked is: If this is “Lisa Food,” what then is “Andy Food?” The answer will come as a surprise to some, as “Andy Food” is simple, cheap, and in her own words, “just ok.” “Andy Food” is the solution to the daily problem Andrea faces when she is hungry and low on resources, time, and patience. With this in mind, Lisa and Andy have started yet another conceptual project to capture these humorous facsimiles of meals while continuing to explore their colorful world. Introducing the first recipe of the series: Scrambled Eggs with Hot Sauce. A certified Andy Favorite™️ that can be eaten at any time of day.

Ingredients

Eggs

Frank’s Hot Sauce

Butter

Directions

Heat up 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Scramble 2-3 eggs and season with salt and pepper. If you have milk that is still good (you don’t), add in a splash if you feel so compelled. Cook eggs, stirring frequently with a spatula until slightly overdone (because you don't like your eggs 'wet'). Top with Frank's Hot Sauce and serve immediately. Pair with a Diet Coke.

Optional: sprinkle whatever cheese you have lying around on top just before serving.
